Robert Pellizzaro – Principal Lawyer

Robert Pellizzaro is a founding partner at Mayer Dearman & Pellizzaro and a dedicated advocate for clients navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. With a practice primarily focused on Family Law, Robert represents individuals dealing with separation and divorce, child custody and access, child and spousal support, adoptions, guardianship applications, and the division of family property. He is known for his practical, compassionate and forceful approach to dispute resolution, whether through negotiation, litigation, or mediation.
Robert received his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1991 and has practiced law in Thompson since 1993. He has earned a reputation across northern Manitoba for his strong courtroom presence, clear communication, and unwavering commitment to his clients.
In addition to his legal practice, Robert has made significant contributions to the profession. He has served on the Law Society of Manitoba’s Ethics Committee, helping to uphold the standards of integrity and professionalism within the legal community. He is currently the Director of Membership for the Manitoba Bar Association, and is slated to serve as Vice President in 2025 and President in 2026.
